Dancehall star Shatta Wale recently accused rival Stonebwoy of letting fame go to his head. Speaking on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, Shatta Wale remarked, “Stonebwoy is just getting swollen-headed with fame,” revealing he’s made several attempts to reconcile with the “Manodzi” hitmaker, but these efforts have been unsuccessful.

Shatta shared, “I’ve told him multiple times that we could settle our differences and collaborate to make money out of this.” According to the “Dancehall King,” he has no personal issues with Stonebwoy but feels that Stonebwoy and other artists are insincere about the industry’s behind-the-scenes dynamics.

“Stonebwoy and others aren’t real—they’re full of fake people,” Shatta stated, adding that he finds the dishonesty disappointing. He emphasized that any perceived feud with Stonebwoy is based on public misconception rather than reality.

Reflecting on their infamous 2019 VGMA altercation, Shatta Wale criticized law enforcement for not arresting Stonebwoy for allegedly brandishing a firearm. “If it had been me, I would have gone to jail. So why didn’t they take him to jail?” he questioned.

Their rivalry, which escalated after the 2019 VGMA incident, continues to fuel social media debates among fans. Meanwhile, Stonebwoy recently released his sixth studio album, UP & RUNNIN6.
