Salifu Amoako’s Son Under Police Guard at Hospital, Facing Imminent Arrest

Elrad Salifu Amoako, son of renowned preacher Prophet Salifu Amoako, is currently under heavy police guard at a hospital where he is receiving treatment following his involvement in a tragic accident in East Legon. The accident, which occurred on October 12, 2024, claimed the lives of two young girls, drawing significant public attention.

According to police sources, the security presence is to ensure his arrest as soon as his health improves. Authorities have acknowledged the high level of public interest and assured the public that justice will be served.

In connection with the incident, the Ghana Police Service has officially charged Prophet Salifu Amoako, his wife Mouha Amoako, and another individual for allowing the unlicensed 16-year-old Elrad to drive.

The parents are scheduled to reappear in court on October 30, 2024.

The fatal accident has sparked widespread outrage, with calls for swift legal action. Police have committed to handling the case with the seriousness it demands, ensuring accountability for the tragedy.
