Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has shared her deep condolences on social media following the tragic East Legon accident, which claimed the lives of two young girls.
Taking to Instagram, the actress expressed her sorrow and empathy for the grieving families. In her heartfelt message, she acknowledged the unimaginable pain they are experiencing due to the sudden loss. Nadia shared her grief over the loss of young lives, describing it as a future cut short in the most painful way. She emphasized how hard it is for the families to come to terms with the incident, stating that it’s “too painful to remember and too painful to forgive.”
She wrote, “I can’t believe this happened to these beautiful little girls. A future has been cut off in such a painful manner that it’s hard to comprehend. May God keep their innocent souls in perfect peace. My prayers are with the bereaved families. May the joy of the Lord give you strength to navigate this difficult time. The loss of any child anywhere is the loss of a future everywhere. It is too painful to remember and too painful to forgive.”
The tragic accident occurred on October 12, 2024, when a 16-year-old, driving a Jaguar SUV, crashed into a Honda Acura, killing the two young victims: Maame Dwomoh Boaten and Justine Agbenu.
The parents of the driver, Bishop Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako, along with a sales assistant, Linda Bempah, have been arrested and charged for allowing an unlicensed individual to drive.
A candlelight vigil was held on Friday, October 18, 2024, to honor the memory of the young girls.
