Bishop Salifu Amoako, General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, has extended a heartfelt apology to the families of the two young girls who tragically lost their lives in a fatal accident involving his son, Elrad Salifu Amoako.
Bishop Amoako shared that the incident has caused immense grief and pain for his family, particularly as his 16-year-old son was involved in the tragedy.
The Accra Circuit Court granted bail to the Bishop and his wife on Wednesday, following their arrest to assist in the ongoing investigation.
In a video posted on social media, Bishop Amoako was visibly emotional, kneeling in prayer as he asked the grieving families for forgiveness.
“I am heartbroken, and no words can undo this terrible tragedy. I have shed many tears… but I pray that God comforts your families and grants you the strength to heal during this difficult time,” he said on Friday, October 18.
He also appealed to the general public for their support in seeking the families’ forgiveness.
The court granted Bishop Salifu Amoako and his wife Mouha Amoako GH¢50,000 bail, with two sureties each.
